Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
